The Land: The Royal Domain

The Royal Domain is the "fifth fourth" of Westria. Ruled directly by the Crown from Laurelynn rather than by a lesser lord, this province is truly the heart of Westria. Notable landmarks from the books include Laurelynn (near present-day Antioch), the Red Mountain (Mount Diablo), and Misthall (on the southern edge of present-day Berkeley). The Royal Domain includes what pre-Cataclysm Californians would call the East Bay and the Delta: Alameda and Contra Costa counties, and part of San Joaquin county.
