The Land: Seagate

Each Province of Westria has its hallows and sacred sites. In Seagate, which occupies the northern quarter of the country, from the Great Bay north to the Corona, and east to the Dorada, the Lady Mountain is a mighty presence, presiding over the Great Bay. In the meadows at its summit Faris and Jehan were married. At its foot lies the Sacred Wood, where the rulers of Westria are buried. In The Golden Hills of Westria, the Initiation Retreat at which Frederic's daughter and Julian's son take their names is held on the Mountain, and the prince is taken to the Sacred Wood for his vigil.
